Art in The Towns:

Call to artists! We want you to create Art in the Towns of Annadale, Eltingville and Great Kills on Saturday,
June 22, 2013 and Sunday, June 23, 2013 between the hours of 10am and 4pm. We'll provide a $50 stipend per individual and display your work at local merchants. Only the first 100

South Shore Local Development Corporation:

The South Shore Merchant Program, funded by Councilman Vincent Ignizio, is aimed at enhancing the commercial districts of Annadale, Eltingville and Great Kills. Through this program, merchants receive benefits such as promotion, sanitation and beautification in an effort to draw shoppers and visitors, which in turn will enhance the economic vitality of the towns. Ultimately, this program will lead to the creation of the South Shore Local Development Corporation (SS LDC), which will continue to provide services and assistance to the businesses in the area.

Implemented services include holiday lighting and sanitation services, as well as the production of a commercial that promotes shopping in all three towns. For additional information on what services have been provided and what is being planned for the future, please click on the individual town names.
